Choco Oreo Mousse
A mousse is a prepared food that incorporates air bubbles to give it a light and airy texture. It can range from light and fluffy to creamy and thick, depending on preparation techniques. A mousse may be sweet or savory. Dessert mousses are typically made with whipped eggwhites or whipped cream, and generally flavored with chocolate or puréed fruit. For savory mousse, hard boiled egg, fish or liver may be used.
Ingredients:
125 g water 125 g sugar crushed oreo cookies
250 g pure chocolate(70% cocao) 900 ml whipping cream
150 g eggyolks 6 gelatine sheets
Preparation:
1.Boil the water and sugar to a syrup consitency. Melt the chocolate au bain marie and whip the whipping cream until yoghurt thick.
2.Whisk the egg yolks, pour the hot sugar mixture on it and mix the egg yolks lightly. Soak the gelatine in cold water. Heat the gelatine with a little bit of water until dissolved.
3.Mix the egg yolk mixture with the chocolate, gelatine and fold in the cream and crushed oreo .
4. Garnish with whipped cream and oreo cookies.
5. Serve and have fun!
