Filled Green Cabbage
Ingredients:
1 green cabbage 125 g mozzarella
500 g ground meat 1 egg
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika powder (red bell pepper powder)
1 T tomato ketchup 50 g bread crumbs
sunflower oil (or any oil) 1 onion
1 clove garlic
1 teaspoon curry powder fresh ground pepper
salt to taste

Preparation:
- Pre-heat the oven to180°C.
- Prepare a cooking pan and pour some water and a pinch of salt, let it boil.
First we will prepare and blanch the cabbage:
- Cut the leaves of the cabbage and remove the white and hard stem.
- Blanch the leaves for about 1 minute and wash it with cold water directly. In this way, we're able to preserve the color.
- Making the Filling:
- Cut the mozarella in cubes and mix it with the ground meat, egg, garlic powder, paprika powder and ketchup. Add the bread crumbs. Season it with salt and pepper. Divide the ground meat mix in 8 portions. Prepare 8 pieces aluminum foil.
- Sprinkle some oil to the foil so that the cabbage and the aluminum foil will not stick to each other. Flattened the cabbage in the middle. Put the ground meat mix in the midle of the cabbage and roll tightly together with the foil. At this point it looks like an embutido. Repeat this procedure until you're done.
- Bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
Serve and have fun!
This recipe is a good combination with rice or potatoes.
